The corner ended in Przemyslaw Szotek almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Młoda Torca Zabrze's Lucjan Blochowiak did a great save. After a defensive mix-up in Gold Team's zone, Vítor Neves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damian Laba came out of the goal and Vítor Neves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Gold Team booed when Młoda Torca Zabrze was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wawrzyniec Orlicki didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 12 minutes, Korneliusz Jaworski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gold Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Korneliusz Jaworski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
