Artur Lagiewniki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jerzy Dombrowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Slawomir Sebzda struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Artur Lagiewniki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Polish Eagles. Artur Lagiewniki was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Alfred Kinic capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alfred Kinic really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Slawomir Sebzda kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Artur Lagiewniki. That made the score 2-0 in the 22 minute of play. Artur Lagiewniki stood somewhat misplaced when Slawomir Sebzda came free in front of goal and shot 4-0 to the left of him in the 38 minute. After a defensive mix-up in Wymiatacze FC's zone, Jerzy Dombrowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artur Lagiewniki came out of the goal and Jerzy Dombrowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 45 minutes into the game, Polish Eagles's Slawomir Sebzda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Artur Lagiewniki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wilson Sandoval stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Alfred Kinic ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Artur Lagiewniki was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. After 56 minutes of play, Polish Eagles's Slawomir Sebzda made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Artur Lagiewniki was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 60th minute, Slawomir Sebzda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Artur Lagiewniki was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. The supporters of Polish Eagles booed when Wymiatacze FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barnaba Zajac didn't get a good kick on the ball. Herbert Wielgopolski got a throw-in 66 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Dariusz Czapski. Artur Lagiewniki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilmar Romay in the 69th minute of play. In the 73rd minute of the game Zbigniew Rode made a throw-in which Barnaba Zajac played forward. In the 75th minute, Slawomir Sebzda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Artur Lagiewniki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Slawomir Sebzda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Polish Eagles fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when Polish Eagles's Slawomir Sebzda looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 9-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 85th minute Slawomir Sebzda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Lagiewniki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by Wymiatacze FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Slawomir Sebzda was slow to take the kick. During this time Polish Eagles's players had a chance to rest. 91 minutes into the game, Wawrzyniec Rydzewski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wymiatacze FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Polish Eagles the free kick. The supporters of Polish Eagles booed when Wymiatacze FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wawrzyniec Rydzewski didn't get a good kick on the ball.
