When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Mateusz Ewertowski took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Grzegorz Cytrynski to make any attempt to save it. Grzegorz Cytrynski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mateusz Ewertowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Grzegorz Cytrynski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Olimpia Elbląg getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Zbyszko Cieliczka hit a great ball. Bartosz Ferfecki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leon Leper, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Kaczucha made a kick off. After 53 minutes FC Derton's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Florian Winograd who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Olimpia Elbląg's Florian Winograd to fire away a dangerous shot which Grzegorz Cytrynski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Grzegorz Cytrynski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Kaczucha in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Przemyslaw Dubilas in the 58th minute of play forced Olimpia Elbląg's goalkeeper Bartosz Ferfecki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the game, Walery Fedosz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Olimpia Elbląg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Derton the free kick. FC Derton's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 71st minute, Mateusz Ewertowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of FC Derton booed when Olimpia Elbląg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateusz Ewertowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Maksymilian Gurgul managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olimpia Elbląg's supporters rose to their feet, but Maksymilian Gurgul was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Grzegorz Cytrynski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mateusz Ewertowski struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Grzegorz Cytrynski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olimpia Elbląg. 94 minutes into the match, FC Derton's Milosz Kapinos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bartosz Ferfecki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bartosz Ferfecki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Milosz Kapinos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Kaczucha might have been able to make a better finish in the 98th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Grzegorz Cytrynski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Kaczucha ran back to his position shaking his head. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Olimpia Elbląg had played much better football throughout.
