Boguslaw Japola was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 23 minutes into the game, AKS Strzegom's Filip Czciborek nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wieslaw Gniech made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. 32 minutes into the match, AKS Strzegom's goal looked a bit too open when Walery Wielgopolski came free, but Boguslaw Japola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 36 minutes of play, Lwów's Walery Wielgopolski made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. AKS Strzegom's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Podowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Wieslaw Gniech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filip Czciborek in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Grzegorz Wisniewski made a precise shot to the right of Wieslaw Gniech. Lwów's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filip Czciborek in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wieslaw Gniech saved Lwów from getting behind. Walery Wielgopolski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Boguslaw Japola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Walery Wielgopolski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Julian Podowski came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the AKS Strzegom fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julian Podowski couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Lwów's zone, Andrej Turanec stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wieslaw Gniech came out of the goal and Andrej Turanec tried to chip the ball over his head. Waclaw Modliszewski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Boguslaw Japola read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. A collision led to Lwów getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Igor Duszenski hit a great ball. Boguslaw Japola didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lwów. Wieslaw Gniech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Podowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
