In the 5th minute, one of MKS Tarnovia:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for MKS Tarnovia. Mariusz Skaradoski shot the penalty kick right outside the post. With his leg Edmund Jazwiec managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when Chicago Bulls's Maciej Aab fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anibal Cordero in the 11th minute of play forced Chicago Bulls's goalkeeper Bogumil Tyski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Zula Babicki fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chicago Bulls's protests and gave Zula Babicki a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Chicago Bulls getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Zula Babicki hit a great ball. Bogumil Tyski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmund Kiewra in the 14th minute of the match. MKS Tarnovia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edmund Kiewra in the 15th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Razvan Ferent during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Chicago Bulls booed when MKS Tarnovia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Razvan Ferent didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mariusz Skaradoski's late challenge caught a MKS Tarnovia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mariusz Skaradoski helped the player get up and apologised. Mariusz Skaradoski hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Razvan Ferent sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Radoslaw Kaszubowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 35 minutes into the match, MKS Tarnovia's goal looked a bit too open when Eugeniusz Plucinik came free, but Edmund Jazwiec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eugeniusz Plucinik hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maciej Aab got free with Edmund Jazwiec in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice moves Damian Fabiszak could shoot a difficult shot in the 41st minute, which Edmund Jazwiec however easily saved by the left post. If Damian Fabiszak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Edmund Jazwiec showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugeniusz Plucinik, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 61st minute, Radoslaw Kaszubowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chicago Bulls fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Edmund Jazwiec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maciej Aab in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th minute, Maciej Aab ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edmund Jazwiec was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugeniusz Plucinik in the 71st minute of play forced MKS Tarnovia's goalkeeper Edmund Jazwiec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damian Fabiszak kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 77th minute Eugeniusz Plucinik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmund Jazwiec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edmund Jazwiec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radoslaw Kaszubowski in the 80th minute of the match. Chicago Bulls's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
