In the 42nd minute, one of FC GARDIERS:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC GARDIERS. Verne Pope walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Wiktor Gargasz made the kick off in the second half. Linnau's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Wiktor Gargasz scored to the left of an out of position Egon Luts, making the score, 0-2. Teofil Tomporowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egon Luts having to interfere. Linnau's Egon Luts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wiktor Gargasz in the 76th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Witold Piechocki managed to get in a good position for a shot. Linnau's supporters rose to their feet, but Witold Piechocki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Egon Luts came out of the goal and Teofil Tomporowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Linnau's Bartlomiej Imbor got a free kick in the 85th minute. Egon Luts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wiktor Gargasz in the 90th minute of the match.
