The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rafal Penc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Barniszke in the 9th minute of play. After 11 played minutes Bogacica got a freekick which was hit by Tanek Jaroch. When Hugon Ziemba came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the KKS Lech Poznań fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugon Ziemba couldn't finish the play. Rafal Penc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tanek Jaroch in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, Stefan Barniszke cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Rafal Penc was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 20 minutes into the match, KKS Lech Poznań's 石轩磊 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Artur Fink narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 22nd minute, Tanek Jaroch left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bogacica fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 25th minute, Tanek Jaroch ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rafal Penc was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ludomir Zbikowski during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of KKS Lech Poznań booed when Bogacica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ludomir Zbikowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Barniszke in the 33rd minute of play forced KKS Lech Poznań's goalkeeper Rafal Penc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute, Andrzej Pasterski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Artur Fink didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 石轩磊 went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. 41 minutes into the match, KKS Lech Poznań's goal looked a bit too open when Tanek Jaroch came free, but Rafal Penc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 石轩磊 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Fink having to interfere. After the first half Bogacica were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Stefan Barniszke got free with Rafal Penc in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 61st play minute Tadeusz Piwowarski came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Rafal Penc. 1-5. Hugon Ziemba might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Artur Fink. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hugon Ziemba ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, KKS Lech Poznań's Rafal Penc got control of the ball when Tadeusz Piwowarski tried to sneak it across the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, KKS Lech Poznań's goal looked a bit too open when Krzysztof Wielowiejski came free, but Rafal Penc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, 石轩磊 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rafal Penc came out and tried to block the shot, but Krzysztof Wielowiejski slotted it home off the left post making it 2-6 in the 89th minute. In the 94th minute, Hugon Ziemba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ludomir Zbikowski was shown his second yellow card after 95 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Bogacica eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
