The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Witalis Cytrynski during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 2nd match minute, Cyganowice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Witalis Cytrynski to maneuver through the defense. In the 3rd minute Aureliusz Jarmulowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jurand Resel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gwidon Huk kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. The supporters of Cyganowice booed when Schützenau SSA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Witold Peczkowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 13 played minutes, Schützenau SSA's Wit Treppa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jurand Resel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Schützenau SSA reached it. Jurand Resel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliusz Jarmulowicz in the 20th minute of the match. Wincenty Tipinski came free with the goalkeeper in the 22nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Konstanty Tipinski could save by the left post. Jeremy Mabbutt in the 33rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Konstanty Tipinski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Gwidon Huk's late challenge caught a Cyganowice's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gwidon Huk helped the player get up and apologised. Gwidon Huk hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Schützenau SSA's goalkeeper Konstanty Tipinski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 38 minutes into the match, Schützenau SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Fafinski came free, but Konstanty Tipinski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Aureliusz Jarmulowicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tobiasz Karanowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aureliusz Jarmulowicz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Aureliusz Jarmulowicz succeeded in the game's 52nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. If Aureliusz Jarmulowicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A very good chance. 76 minutes into the game, one of Cyganowice:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a defensive mix-up in Cyganowice's zone, Tobiasz Karanowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jurand Resel came out of the goal and Tobiasz Karanowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jeremy Mabbutt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Konstanty Tipinski having to interfere. The supporters of Schützenau SSA booed when Cyganowice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Fafinski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 97 played minutes Schützenau SSA got a freekick which was hit by Wit Treppa. After recieving a nice pass, Cyganowice's Zachary Borcz tried to score from far away in the 98th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The Cyganowice manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Schützenau SSA to win.
