After 2 played minutes Zagłębie Sosnowiec got a freekick which was hit by Tanek Rozanski. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Tytus Okraszewski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Tychy's supporters rose to their feet, but Tytus Okraszewski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robert Mitus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Tytus Okraszewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benedykt Lerych was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 15th minute. Real Tychy's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. A collision led to Real Tychy getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Edward Szotek hit a great ball. Robert Mitus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Szotek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Göran Wennerqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tanek Rozanski in the 27th minute of the match. Tytus Okraszewski took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Robert Mitus. Robert Mitus dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 34 minutes into the match, Zagłębie Sosnowiec's goal looked a bit too open when Benedykt Lerych came free, but Robert Mitus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Szotek in the 35th minute of play forced Zagłębie Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Robert Mitus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Göran Wennerqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Gdowski in the 38th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

With a little luck, Real Tychy's Göran Wennerqvist got control of the ball when Zachariasz Brzeszczak tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Zagłębie Sosnowiec's Tanek Rozanski got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Robert Mitus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edward Szotek's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Göran Wennerqvist came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Zagłębie Sosnowiec's Tanek Rozanski. But to his dismay, Tanek Rozanski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If Tytus Okraszewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Szotek in the 66th minute of play forced Zagłębie Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Robert Mitus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tanek Rozanski kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Robert Mitus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tytus Okraszewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. The supporters of Zagłębie Sosnowiec booed when Real Tychy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacek Filipkowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Göran Wennerqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tanek Rozanski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robert Mitus made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Robert Mitus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Szotek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edward Szotek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Mitus having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Real Tychy's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Gdowski came free, but Göran Wennerqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Real Tychy had played much better football throughout.
