Spectators: 6641 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1641, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tanek Jarosz kicked off to start the match. After 3 played minutes Cieliczanka got a freekick which was hit by Ludomir Wisniewski. In the 8th minute Tanek Jarosz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aleksander Maruda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Stomil Sanok's goalkeeper Aleksander Maruda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roman Kasperowicz. Cary Flaherty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zygmunt Kociniewski having to interfere. Edmund Skikiewicz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zygmunt Kociniewski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Tanek Jarosz succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 16th playminute. 21 minutes into the match, Roman Kasperowicz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aleksander Maruda. Stomil Sanok's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roman Kasperowicz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Hugon Rzeszutko might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zygmunt Kociniewski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hugon Rzeszutko ran back to his position shaking his head. Bartlomiej Starogardzki hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute, Walery Bartoszek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hugon Rzeszutko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Hugon Rzeszutko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Franciszek Adamczak came free with the goalkeeper in the 44th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Aleksander Maruda could save by the left post. In the 45th minute Ludomir Wisniewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aleksander Maruda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hugon Rzeszutko to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes, Hugon Rzeszutko made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Cieliczanka's Zygmunt Kociniewski tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Cieliczanka's zone, Hugon Rzeszutko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zygmunt Kociniewski came out of the goal and Hugon Rzeszutko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zygmunt Kociniewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmund Skikiewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After some careless play in the Stomil Sanok defense, Tanek Jarosz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aleksander Maruda. The Stomil Sanok fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aleksander Maruda should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franciszek Adamczak in the 69th minute of play forced Stomil Sanok's goalkeeper Aleksander Maruda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aleksander Maruda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franciszek Adamczak in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd minute Tanek Jarosz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aleksander Maruda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aleksander Maruda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ludomir Wisniewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Aleksander Maruda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roman Kasperowicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aleksander Maruda came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Cieliczanka's Ludomir Wisniewski. But to his dismay, Ludomir Wisniewski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. In the 92nd minute, Tanek Jarosz made a precise shot to the right of Aleksander Maruda. Stomil Sanok's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-2. Aleksander Maruda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tanek Jarosz in the 96th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Stomil Sanok's Diego Bellone got a free kick in the 96th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Stomil Sanok players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cieliczanka.
