Spectators: 7310 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) Kajetan Juchno started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Zenon Maziarz made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Dariusz Makarewicz sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonard Jucha in the 9th minute of play forced Lion's goalkeeper Ryszard Dembkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Bogumil Januszewski came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the GKS Zaspa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bogumil Januszewski couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, GKS Zaspa's Zenon Maziarz got control of the ball when Kajetan Juchno tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kajetan Juchno took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zenon Maziarz. Zenon Maziarz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The referee felt a red card was in order, 24 minutes into the game, when Miroslaw Sliwinski put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lion fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 24th minute. Penalty! Zenon Maziarz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zbyszko Rakiewicz in the 34th minute. Ryszard Dembkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Jucha in the 40th minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Kajetan Juchno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dariusz Makarewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dariusz Makarewicz struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Zenon Maziarz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lion. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leonard Jucha to strike the kick off in the second half. Dariusz Makarewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zenon Maziarz came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Lion's Kajetan Juchno. But to his dismay, Kajetan Juchno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Leonard Jucha did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-1 to the left of a surprised Ryszard Dembkowski 69 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as GKS Zaspa's Bogumil Januszewski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ryszard Dembkowski. That made the score 3-2 after 82 minutes of play. Kajetan Juchno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Zenon Maziarz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lion walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
