The audience was convinced that Bernard Pozorski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Damazy Pieknik was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. 22 minutes into the match, Bird FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eske Skjerne came free, but Damazy Pieknik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eske Skjerne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damazy Pieknik having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Eske Skjerne ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Damazy Pieknik was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

56 minutes into the match, GKS Paprocany's goal looked a bit too open when Zdzislaw Falkiewicz came free, but Damian Ludzia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Damazy Pieknik was a little too slow when Bernard Pozorski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 0-4. After a rather tough play, Bird FC's Miroslaw Dulka got a free kick in the 74th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Bird FC's zone, Eske Skjerne stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damazy Pieknik came out of the goal and Eske Skjerne tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 89 minutes, Gilbert Klocko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bird FC and the GKS Paprocany players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 89th match minute, Bird FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilbert Klocko to maneuver through the defense. After 96 played minutes Bird FC got a freekick which was hit by Zdzislaw Falkiewicz. 99 minutes into the match, Bird FC's goalkeeper Damazy Pieknik had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernard Pozorski.
