The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With his leg Olgierd Skirzynski managed to avoid a goal in the 4thth minute, when Husaria Polska's Aleksander Bochinski fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mielnik's Hieronim Haskiewicz got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ceferino Cordaro in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olgierd Skirzynski saved Mielnik from getting behind. In the 23rd minute, Aleksander Bochinski made a precise shot to the right of Olgierd Skirzynski. Mielnik's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Aleksander Bochinski put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Olgierd Skirzynski. In the 34th minute, Rômulo Cardoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 35 minutes, Mpho Shongwe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Husaria Polska and the Mielnik players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mpho Shongwe hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. When Rafal Pawlak came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Mielnik fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafal Pawlak couldn't finish the play. In the 40th minute, Husaria Polska's Aleksander Bochinski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wincenty Magdziarz in the 47th minute of play forced Mielnik's goalkeeper Olgierd Skirzynski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Igor Lisewski to make the kick off. Aleksander Bochinski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olgierd Skirzynski having to interfere. After having played for 54 minutes, Mpho Shongwe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Husaria Polska's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mpho Shongwe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ceferino Cordaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aleksander Bochinski in the 60th minute of play forced Mielnik's goalkeeper Olgierd Skirzynski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rômulo Cardoso struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Olgierd Skirzynski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Husaria Polska. Olgierd Skirzynski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aleksander Bochinski's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Wincenty Magdziarz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 68 minutes into the game, Igor Lisewski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mielnik's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Husaria Polska the free kick. The supporters of Husaria Polska booed when Mielnik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Lisewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olgierd Skirzynski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ceferino Cordaro in the 75th minute of play. Olgierd Skirzynski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aleksander Bochinski in the 76th minute of the match. Aleksander Bochinski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Olgierd Skirzynski having to make a save. Olgierd Skirzynski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wincenty Magdziarz's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Wincenty Magdziarz scored 4-0 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olgierd Skirzynski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 86 played minutes Mielnik got a freekick which was hit by Igor Lisewski.
