The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 8 minutes into the match, Modrzewina's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Bakes came free, but Artur Piczak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute, Marek Hejza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zalenze fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Ksawery Misiorowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kacper Betonowy charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kacper Betonowy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Modrzewina booed when Zalenze was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kacper Betonowy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eugeniusz Kolano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Artur Piczak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Igor Bakes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Igor Bakes might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Artur Piczak. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Igor Bakes ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Modrzewina's Bartlomiej Budrewicz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Igor Palzewicz. That made the score 1-1 after 39 minutes of play. Zalenze's Marek Hejza got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wincent Gregorczyk to make the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Igor Bakes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zalenze's supporters crossed their fingers, but Igor Bakes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 56th minute, Miromir Klewinski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Igor Palzewicz came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Modrzewina's Bartlomiej Budrewicz. But to his dismay, Bartlomiej Budrewicz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Zalenze's Igor Palzewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartlomiej Budrewicz in the 63rd minute of play. Zalenze's Ksawery Misiorowski got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Modrzewina's Korneliusz Wiater got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 71st minute, Bartlomiej Budrewicz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wincent Gregorczyk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Igor Palzewicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Bartlomiej Budrewicz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Igor Palzewicz. Zalenze's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bartlomiej Budrewicz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 78th minute Miromir Klewinski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Palzewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Zalenze getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Igor Bakes hit a great ball. Marek Hejza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Piczak having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartlomiej Budrewicz in the 97th minute of play forced Zalenze's goalkeeper Igor Palzewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Modrzewina were victorious despite being under pressure from Zalenze for much of the match.
