The coaching staff of GKS Bełchatów protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Damian Pieknik had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 41 minutes into the game, one of GKS Bełchatów:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kacper Mierzwa was the one to do the kick off. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Feliks Solibieda charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Feliks Solibieda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Artur Brzakala made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Edward Byczewski sent off a good shot on target. Slawomir Seliga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tolek Borcz having to interfere. Lucjan Kosmatka kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The GKS Bełchatów supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Jagatowo's performance. The match ended with a win for Jagatowo.
