Franciszek Budacz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Krzysztof Imbor came out and tried to block the shot, but Franciszek Budacz slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 14th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Mariusz Zerde notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of KKS Lech Poznań's Krzysztof Imbor. Krzysztof Imbor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 21 minutes into the game, Mariusz Zerde lined in a short shot 4-0 behind a frustrated Krzysztof Imbor. Antoni Zacharek came free with the goalkeeper in the 24th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Krzysztof Imbor could save by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in KKS Lech Poznań's zone, Zachariasz Penczkowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Krzysztof Imbor came out of the goal and Zachariasz Penczkowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mariusz Zerde scored 8-0 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Krzysztof Imbor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 48th minute Franciszek Budacz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Krzysztof Imbor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 8-0 at half-time.

In the 51st minute, Mariusz Zerde got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Kosierzec players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
