In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zaglebie1906's goalkeeper Stanislaw Orszak, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Zaglebie1906's Arkadiusz Kisielka in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vanuatu's goalie prevented a goal. Through an outstanding action, after 23 minutes, Rafal Cymbal successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 24 minutes, Boruc Sochacki mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zaglebie1906 and the Vanuatu players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 24 played minutes Zaglebie1906 got a freekick which was hit by Boruc Sochacki. Stanislaw Orszak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wieslaw Wallach, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. The supporters of Vanuatu booed when Zaglebie1906 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miromir Dropinski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Zaglebie1906's zone, Zdzislaw Bienienda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stanislaw Orszak came out of the goal and Zdzislaw Bienienda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Arkadiusz Kisielka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Vanuatu's Daniel Dec got a free kick in the 38th minute. Boruc Sochacki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wieslaw Wallach took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stanislaw Orszak. Stanislaw Orszak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Waldemar Olszewski made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wieslaw Wallach got free with Stanislaw Orszak in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 54th minute, Vanuatu's Waldemar Olszewski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Vanuatu's Rafal Cymbal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boruc Sochacki in the 59th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Zaglebie1906's goalkeeper Stanislaw Orszak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wieslaw Wallach. After some careless play in the Vanuatu defense, Boruc Sochacki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rafal Cymbal. The Vanuatu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rafal Cymbal should have stopped the shot. Stanislaw Orszak was a little too slow when Waldemar Olszewski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 1-4. After some careless play in the Zaglebie1906 defense, Wieslaw Wallach kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stanislaw Orszak. The Zaglebie1906 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stanislaw Orszak should have stopped the shot. Wieslaw Wallach could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Stanislaw Orszak made a huge save. 96 minutes into the match, Zaglebie1906's goalkeeper Stanislaw Orszak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wieslaw Wallach. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Vanuatu eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
