After 9 played minutes, Nuthagen 44's Tolek Mlekodaj shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Remigiusz Roman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Nuthagen 44 reached it. The supporters of Nuthagen 44 booed when Akritas Chlorakas Paphos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kurt Nordin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17thth minute of the game Dawid Wozniak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Akritas Chlorakas Paphos's Remigiusz Roman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Nuthagen 44's zone, Pawel Zima stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ziemowit Falkowski came out of the goal and Pawel Zima tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Akritas Chlorakas Paphos's Herbert Galus got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Herbert Galus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ziemowit Falkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pawel Zima in the 37th minute of play. The supporters of Nuthagen 44 booed when Akritas Chlorakas Paphos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Dziatkowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute of the match Olaf Kempski shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Remigiusz Roman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Pawel Zima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Ziemowit Falkowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ziemowit Falkowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Herbert Galus in the 45th minute. When Pawel Zima came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Akritas Chlorakas Paphos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pawel Zima couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Artur Walczyk to make the kick off. The Nuthagen 44 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ziemowit Falkowski should have stopped the shot. If Tadeusz Sidor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Akritas Chlorakas Paphos booed when Nuthagen 44 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boruc Ludwa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Akritas Chlorakas Paphos's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
