Roland Milko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Konstanty Setara in the 3rd minute of the match. After 4 minutes of play, Joga Bonito's Konstanty Setara made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roland Milko was left in no man's land by his defense there! Joga Bonito's Zenon Pilitowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Joga Bonito from getting a goal against them. 13 minutes into the match, Widzew Łódz's goal looked a bit too open when Milosz Mirowski came free, but Roland Milko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Widzew Łódz's zone, Milosz Mirowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roland Milko came out of the goal and Milosz Mirowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Widzew Łódz's Roland Milko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arkadiusz Plucinik in the 16th minute of play. Konstanty Setara's late challenge caught a Widzew Łódz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Konstanty Setara helped the player get up and apologised. Konstanty Setara kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After 19 minutes of play, Joga Bonito's Arkadiusz Plucinik made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roland Milko was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zenon Pilitowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfred Gurgul, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 24th minute of the match Widzew Łódz got a corner. Joga Bonito's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lucjan Wyrzykowski ran over to the corner to take the kick. Widzew Łódz's Ulryk Kisiel was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Zenon Pilitowski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Roland Milko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arkadiusz Plucinik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joga Bonito's Leon Klimkiewicz quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ulryk Kisiel, made in the 33rd minute of the game. Widzew Łódz's Roland Milko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milosz Mirowski in the 34th minute of play. Alfred Gurgul kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Konstanty Setara in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roland Milko prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Leon Klimkiewicz fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Joga Bonito's protests and gave Leon Klimkiewicz a yellow card for diving instead. Leon Klimkiewicz kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. If Konstanty Setara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Damian Walczak to make the kick off. Tymoteusz Dulka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zenon Pilitowski having to interfere. Milosz Mirowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Roland Milko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Konstanty Setara took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roland Milko. Roland Milko dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arkadiusz Plucinik in the 68th minute of play forced Widzew Łódz's goalkeeper Roland Milko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Alfred Gurgul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Milosz Mirowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 80 minutes into the match, Widzew Łódz's goal looked a bit too open when Arkadiusz Plucinik came free, but Roland Milko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zenon Pilitowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Walczak in the 88th minute of play. Milosz Mirowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Roland Milko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Joga Bonito's Arkadiusz Plucinik ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Roland Milko. Roland Milko yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4.
