Spectators: 7251 (Terracing: 5440, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marian Barniszke started the match with the kick off. After 4 played minutes, Lechia Gdańsk's Jakub Dankowski shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aleksander Korytkowski came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lechia Gdańsk reached it. In the 6th minute there was a penalty for Lechia Gdańsk. Tytus Peczkowski stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Aleksander Korytkowski. 0-1. After some careless play in the Seward Utd defense, Daniel Bycofski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aleksander Korytkowski. The Seward Utd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aleksander Korytkowski should have stopped the shot. Daniel Bycofski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Aleksander Korytkowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcu Dobre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Bycofski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Aleksander Korytkowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25thth minute of the game Marcu Dobre who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Seward Utd's Aleksander Korytkowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Korneliusz Sedzikowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aleksander Korytkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Bycofski in the 37th minute of the match. Aleksander Korytkowski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bruno Neves went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Korneliusz Sedzikowski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gilbert Cuber having to make a save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The wind increased when Daniel Bycofski made the kick off in the second half. Daniel Bycofski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aleksander Korytkowski having to interfere. 58 minutes into the game, Filip Smolarek cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Aleksander Korytkowski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aleksander Korytkowski made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Bruno Neves sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Seward Utd's Aleksander Korytkowski got control of the ball when Damian Wlodyga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aleksander Korytkowski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Filip Smolarek went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as Daniel Bycofski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aleksander Korytkowski. That made the score 0-7 in the 71 minute of play. Daniel Bycofski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Filip Smolarek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Szymon Czysta during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Seward Utd fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! After 82 played minutes Seward Utd got a freekick which was hit by Lukasz Plachetka. Seward Utd's defense didn't have a chance, in the 83rd minute, when Daniel Bycofski scored to the left of an out of position Aleksander Korytkowski, making the score, 0-8. Filip Smolarek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aleksander Korytkowski having to interfere. Aleksander Korytkowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Bycofski's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Aleksander Korytkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute, Daniel Bycofski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aleksander Korytkowski made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Filip Smolarek sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 98 minutes, Filip Smolarek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lechia Gdańsk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filip Smolarek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Lechia Gdańsk left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Seward Utd.
