Artur Bronder was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 5 minutes into the match. In the 7th minute there was a penalty for LKS LEŃCZE. Igor Zacharczyk stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Zygmunt Chrzan. 1-0. LKS LEŃCZE's Bogumil Bronder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karol Wieloch in the 10th minute of play. 15 minutes into the game, Karol Wieloch cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Bogumil Bronder was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fulgencio Todor hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the match, LKS LEŃCZE's goal looked a bit too open when Karol Wieloch came free, but Bogumil Bronder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bogumil Bronder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karol Wieloch in the 26th minute of play. After 28 minutes of play, KKS Lech Poznań's Karol Wieloch made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bogumil Bronder was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bogumil Bronder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karol Wieloch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute, Karol Wieloch left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KKS Lech Poznań fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Zygmunt Chrzan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fulgencio Todor, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. LKS LEŃCZE's Bogumil Bronder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Korneliusz Puzio in the 44th minute of play. In the 47th minute Fulgencio Todor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zygmunt Chrzan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half KKS Lech Poznań were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Fulgencio Todor made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Mario Oll shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zygmunt Chrzan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zygmunt Chrzan came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by LKS LEŃCZE's Mario Oll. But to his dismay, Mario Oll quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. In the 57th minute, Fulgencio Todor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 60th minute, KKS Lech Poznań's Korneliusz Puzio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bogumil Bronder. Bogumil Bronder yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. In the 63rd minute Antoni Harasimowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bogumil Bronder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute, Lars Van Bets hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bogumil Bronder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karol Wieloch in the 68th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 69 minutes, Bogumil Bronder successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. LKS LEŃCZE were furious when Jerzy Budacz was red carded, 73 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 78thth minute of the game Antoni Harasimowicz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LKS LEŃCZE's Bogumil Bronder was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Daniel Marut charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Marut the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 79 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for KKS Lech Poznań! Zygmunt Chrzan came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by LKS LEŃCZE's Igor Zacharczyk. But to his dismay, Igor Zacharczyk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karol Wieloch in the 84th minute of play forced LKS LEŃCZE's goalkeeper Bogumil Bronder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, LKS LEŃCZE's Bogumil Bronder got control of the ball when Bruno Massa tried to sneak it across the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, KKS Lech Poznań's Bruno Massa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bogumil Bronder made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-5. Bogumil Bronder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Korneliusz Puzio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to KKS Lech Poznań getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Daniel Marut hit a great ball.
