Lucjan Cholewa charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucjan Cholewa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Wladyslaw Dabrowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Wladyslaw Dabrowski sped through La Vecchia Signora's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bernard Walentowicz. MKS Shock's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Czeslaw Kuszczak in the 24th minute. The corner ended in Czeslaw Kuszczak almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but La Vecchia Signora's Bernard Walentowicz did a great save. In the 28th minute Janusz Janiczek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernard Walentowicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Lucjan Cholewa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When MKS Shock's Wladyslaw Dabrowski in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 45 minutes of play, MKS Shock's Janusz Janiczek made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bernard Walentowicz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Wladyslaw Dabrowski succeeded in the game's 52nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. Zachariasz Mis struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Bernard Walentowicz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MKS Shock. Roch Plucinik kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After 60 played minutes La Vecchia Signora got a freekick which was hit by Krzysztof Zgonina. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wladyslaw Dabrowski in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernard Walentowicz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. La Vecchia Signora's Bernard Walentowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Janusz Janiczek in the 69th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zachariasz Mis got free with Bernard Walentowicz in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by La Vecchia Signora's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Czeslaw Kuszczak was slow to take the kick. During this time MKS Shock's players had a chance to rest. The corner led MKS Shock's Czeslaw Kuszczak to fire away a dangerous shot which Bernard Walentowicz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of MKS Shock booed when La Vecchia Signora was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Klement Paprotny didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in La Vecchia Signora's zone, Czeslaw Kuszczak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernard Walentowicz came out of the goal and Czeslaw Kuszczak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Janusz Janiczek in the 77th minute of play forced La Vecchia Signora's goalkeeper Bernard Walentowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th match minute, La Vecchia Signora was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klement Paprotny to maneuver through the defense. La Vecchia Signora's Bernard Walentowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wladyslaw Dabrowski in the 82nd minute of play. When Kajetan Kisielka fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Vecchia Signora's protests and gave Kajetan Kisielka a yellow card for diving instead. A hard shot by Czeslaw Kuszczak from long distance, 94 minutes into the match, got Bernard Walentowicz's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. MKS Shock's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
