In the 18th minute Jerzy Pozorski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viktoras Koklas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 32 played minutes FC LamusY got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Mudry. In the 43rd minute, Manchester United's Jerzy Pozorski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Viktoras Koklas. Viktoras Koklas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Jerzy Pozorski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Viktoras Koklas made a huge save.

The wind increased when Jerzy Pozorski made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Jerzy Pozorski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viktoras Koklas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Viktoras Koklas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zbigniew Konopka in the 56th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lukasz Mazierski during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lukasz Mazierski hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Boruc Labus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Savas Vamvakidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 63 minutes, Zbigniew Konopka managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manchester United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zbigniew Konopka was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Viktoras Koklas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zbigniew Konopka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manchester United's Jerzy Pozorski got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Manchester United's Jerzy Pozorski in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC LamusY's goalie prevented a goal. Zbigniew Konopka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Viktoras Koklas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Zbigniew Konopka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC LamusY's Viktoras Koklas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerzy Pozorski in the 78th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerzy Pozorski in the 78th minute of play forced FC LamusY's goalkeeper Viktoras Koklas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gigi Ghiță fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viktoras Koklas having to interfere. Viktoras Koklas came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Manchester United's Edoardo Valcareggi. But to his dismay, Edoardo Valcareggi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Edoardo Valcareggi took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Viktoras Koklas. Viktoras Koklas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1.
