In the 4th minute, Lotos Warszawa's Hieronim Pilarski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Korneliusz Pietrowski came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Lotos Warszawa's Bernard Bochinski. But to his dismay, Bernard Bochinski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 14 minutes into the match, Widzew Łódź's goalkeeper Korneliusz Pietrowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hieronim Pilarski. After a defensive mix-up in Lotos Warszawa's zone, Mathis Van Goolen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pankracy Antoszewski came out of the goal and Mathis Van Goolen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Widzew Łódź getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Fabian Wawro hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 47 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Bernard Bochinski sped through Widzew Łódź's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Korneliusz Pietrowski. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the referee ended the match the Lotos Warszawa players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
