The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Júlio Batista could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Mateusz Wielowiejski made a huge save. The nice shot from Júlio Batista in the 6thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Mateusz Wielowiejski had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. 1-0 became the score in the 13th minute when Rubens Santana elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 16 minutes, Jacek Rakoski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Orzeł Mokre and the FC PORTO players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jacek Rakoski hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. If Júlio Batista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC PORTO's Fryderyk Jerzyk suffered a concussion in the 20th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marek Rakowicz during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. FC PORTO's Julian Byczewski was substituted for Fryderyk Jerzyk. After a rather tough play, Orzeł Mokre's Marek Rakowicz got a free kick in the 22nd minute. A collision led to Orzeł Mokre getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Marek Rakowicz hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Orzeł Mokre's zone, Júlio Batista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mateusz Wielowiejski came out of the goal and Júlio Batista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rubens Santana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Mateusz Wielowiejski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Rubens Santana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38thth minute of the game Rubens Santana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Orzeł Mokre's Mateusz Wielowiejski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rubens Santana stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rubens Santana in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mateusz Wielowiejski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 56th minute, Rubens Santana left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC PORTO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Zbyszek Kostka charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zbyszek Kostka the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 69 minutes into the match, FC PORTO's goalkeeper Carmine Petricca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karol Dula. Cezary Orlicki was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 71st minute. Orzeł Mokre's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After having played for 74 minutes, Karol Dula managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Orzeł Mokre's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karol Dula was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Karol Dula's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Carmine Petricca firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in FC PORTO's zone, Karol Dula stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carmine Petricca came out of the goal and Karol Dula tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 91 minutes into the match, Orzeł Mokre's goal looked a bit too open when Rubens Santana came free, but Mateusz Wielowiejski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Karol Dula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Orzeł Mokre players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC PORTO.
