Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Zbigniew Koprowski took the kick off in the first half of the match. Hieronim Kosmatka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zbigniew Koprowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Thunderstorm Riders's Hieronim Kosmatka got control of the ball when Tobiasz Wincek tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Thunderstorm Riders's goalkeeper Hieronim Kosmatka, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 15 minutes into the match, Thunderstorm Riders's goal looked a bit too open when Zbigniew Koprowski came free, but Hieronim Kosmatka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacek Derlanga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hieronim Kosmatka having to make a save. Górnik SSA's Zbigniew Koprowski got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Tobiasz Wincek came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Górnik SSA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tobiasz Wincek couldn't finish the play. Hieronim Kosmatka didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 34th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Zbigniew Koprowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Hieronim Kosmatka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hieronim Kosmatka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zbigniew Koprowski in the 45th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zbyszko Soliwoda to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tobiasz Wincek in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hieronim Kosmatka saved Thunderstorm Riders from getting behind. Zbigniew Koprowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Hieronim Kosmatka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hieronim Kosmatka prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Thunderstorm Riders's Hieronim Kosmatka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobiasz Wincek in the 67th minute of play. If Zbigniew Koprowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hieronim Kosmatka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobiasz Wincek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Zbigniew Koprowski sped through Thunderstorm Riders's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hieronim Kosmatka. Hieronim Kosmatka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zbigniew Koprowski in the 91st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Tobiasz Wincek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Górnik SSA's supporters rose to their feet, but Tobiasz Wincek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hieronim Kosmatka breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zbigniew Koprowski in the 95th minute of play forced Thunderstorm Riders's goalkeeper Hieronim Kosmatka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute of the match Ulryk Treppa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hieronim Kosmatka showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 98 minutes, Tobiasz Wincek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Górnik SSA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tobiasz Wincek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Górnik SSA fully deserved thier win.
