Spectators: 7217 (Terracing: 5414, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Wiktor Laskowski kicked off to start the match. After 3 played minutes Trepcza SSA got a freekick which was hit by Witomir Sobania. Trepcza SSA's Rafal Rudy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Trepcza SSA from getting a goal against them. Leszek Fedosz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateusz Babicki in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th match minute, VFB Żory was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ludomil Barowicz to maneuver through the defense. If Slawomir Frodyma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Wiktor Laskowski took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Rafal Rudy to make any attempt to save it. Slawomir Frodyma recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of VFB Żory booed when Trepcza SSA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilbert Pilarski didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Damazy Dziatkowicz from long distance, 24 minutes into the match, got Rafal Rudy's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boruc Bochinski in the 30th minute of play forced VFB Żory's goalkeeper Leszek Fedosz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leszek Fedosz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateusz Babicki in the 33rd minute of the match. 36 minutes into the game, Ludomil Barowicz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. VFB Żory's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Trepcza SSA the free kick. In the 36th minute, Ludomil Barowicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. VFB Żory's Leszek Fedosz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boruc Bochinski in the 38th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Trepcza SSA fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 39th minute. Penalty! Rafal Rudy made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Wiktor Laskowski sent off a good shot on target. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Boruc Bochinski made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Trepcza SSA's Boruc Bochinski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leszek Fedosz. That made the score 2-1 after 51 minutes of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Boruc Bochinski in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leszek Fedosz saved VFB Żory from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mateusz Babicki got free with Leszek Fedosz in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Wiktor Laskowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 67 minutes, Mateusz Babicki mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Trepcza SSA and the VFB Żory players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 67 played minutes Trepcza SSA got a freekick which was hit by Mateusz Babicki. After 68 played minutes VFB Żory got a freekick which was hit by Ludomil Barowicz. Mateusz Babicki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leszek Fedosz having to interfere. In the 77th minute Wiktor Laskowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafal Rudy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leszek Fedosz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Boruc Bochinski's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Leszek Fedosz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilbert Pilarski in the 90th minute of the match. Leszek Fedosz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mateusz Babicki in the 93rd minute. When Slawomir Frodyma came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the VFB Żory fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Slawomir Frodyma couldn't finish the play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
