Zagłębie Sosnowiec's Horst Novoselec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cyprian Chrobak in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Zagłębie Sosnowiec's goal looked a bit too open when Edmund Skarpiak came free, but Horst Novoselec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hieronim Zuraw was a little too slow when Tymoteusz Fiszer got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 1-0. Horst Novoselec didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tobiasz Birkenhagen went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Horst Novoselec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobiasz Birkenhagen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Junior Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute Edmund Skarpiak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horst Novoselec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Horst Novoselec showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cyprian Chrobak, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After 38 minutes of play, Mencowizna's Edmund Skarpiak made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Horst Novoselec was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zagłębie Sosnowiec's Michal Kapera got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Mencowizna getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Edmund Skarpiak hit a great ball. Mencowizna's Hieronim Zuraw proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 49th minute of the match, managed to save Mencowizna from getting a goal against them. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Edmund Skarpiak made the kick off in the second half. Zagłębie Sosnowiec's Horst Novoselec proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Zagłębie Sosnowiec from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Zagłębie Sosnowiec booed when Mencowizna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boruc Plech didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wawrzyniec Pyczkowski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hieronim Zuraw having to make a save. 63 minutes into the match, Mencowizna's goal looked a bit too open when Junior Moreno came free, but Hieronim Zuraw reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michal Kapera's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hieronim Zuraw read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Wawrzyniec Pyczkowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Junior Moreno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hieronim Zuraw having to interfere. In the 70thth minute of the game Wawrzyniec Pyczkowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mencowizna's Hieronim Zuraw was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Wawrzyniec Pyczkowski came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Zagłębie Sosnowiec fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wawrzyniec Pyczkowski couldn't finish the play. 82 minutes into the match, Mencowizna's goal looked a bit too open when Wawrzyniec Pyczkowski came free, but Hieronim Zuraw reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hieronim Zuraw showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tymoteusz Fiszer, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Junior Moreno scored 3-2 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hieronim Zuraw, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Junior Moreno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Hieronim Zuraw tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mencowizna succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Zagłębie Sosnowiec had controlled the match.
