Olgierd Domalik ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the exter defense, Fryderyk Liermann kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marian Pinczewski. The exter fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marian Pinczewski should have stopped the shot. Marian Pinczewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fryderyk Liermann in the 22nd minute of the match. The referee gave Fordon SA a penalty, 28 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Szymon Koperski, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of exter's Marian Pinczewski. 0-2. 40 minutes into the match, Fordon SA's goal looked a bit too open when Matthew Tormes came free, but Andrzej Fleszar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marian Pinczewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boleslaw Trzaskoma in the 42nd minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Matthew Tormes made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boleslaw Trzaskoma in the 52nd minute of play forced exter's goalkeeper Marian Pinczewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
