Cristóvão Viana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Boruc having to interfere. 6 minutes into the game, Gwidon Borowski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Franciszek Nowak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 10th minute Cristóvão Viana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Boruc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Sarmacja Będzin's goal looked a bit too open when Cristóvão Viana came free, but Fabian Boruc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute, Elvio Ovando ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabian Boruc was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 20 minutes into the match, Sarmacja Będzin's goal looked a bit too open when Elvio Ovando came free, but Fabian Boruc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

Franciszek Nowak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gwidon Borowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Sarmacja Będzin's Hugon Pstrongowski got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 63rd minute Cristóvão Viana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Boruc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabian Boruc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elvio Ovando, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute.
