The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Faustino Almeida during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Faustino Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 11th minute by Coky Sugandi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 13 minutes into the match, Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Coky Sugandi. Kahar Suseno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Pimentel in the 15th minute of the match. Coky Sugandi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. PS Gunung Sindur's Jagad Björn quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Faustino Almeida, made in the 19th minute of the game. Coky Sugandi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilson Amorim having to make a save. Portugal's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Felipe Barreto in the 42nd minute. Portugal's Faustino Almeida was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kahar Suseno in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 44th minute, Viriato Moura ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kahar Suseno was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Faustino Almeida hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Coky Sugandi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Coky Sugandi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Coky Sugandi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Wilson Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Coky Sugandi went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 4-2 when Coky Sugandi sped through Portugal's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wilson Amorim. 68 minutes into the game, PS Gunung Sindur's Coky Sugandi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilson Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. After 82 minutes of play, PS Gunung Sindur's Coky Sugandi made it 7-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilson Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! PS Gunung Sindur made a substitution. Indiana Farid replaced Coky Sugandi. 86 minutes into the match, Gilbert Fitrianto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Amorim. The supporters of PS Gunung Sindur booed when Portugal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faustino Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. Indiana Farid struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Wilson Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PS Gunung Sindur. In the 95th minute Daniel Pimentel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kahar Suseno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. PS Gunung Sindur's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
