In the 4thth minute of the game Yasir Kaal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GKS KATOWICE's Franciszek Debkowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 4 minutes, Tibaut Martens mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GKS KATOWICE and the Zdroik TEAM players grew even worse after the yellow card. Franciszek Debkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cordero Ribeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Edward Niziolek had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Franciszek Debkowski. GKS KATOWICE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edward Niziolek was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 15 minutes into the match, Zdroik TEAM's goal looked a bit too open when Olaf Kornaszewski came free, but Daniel Degutis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olaf Kornaszewski got free with Daniel Degutis in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Franciszek Debkowski came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Zdroik TEAM's Yasir Kaal. But to his dismay, Yasir Kaal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. With a little luck, Zdroik TEAM's Daniel Degutis got control of the ball when Erasmo Saldanha tried to sneak it across the goal line. Erasmo Saldanha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Daniel Degutis having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cordero Ribeiro in the 31st minute of play forced GKS KATOWICE's goalkeeper Franciszek Debkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th match minute, Zdroik TEAM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marian Pilipiec to maneuver through the defense. Franciszek Debkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Niziolek in the 38th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Yasir Kaal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zdroik TEAM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After 46 minutes of play, Zdroik TEAM's Yasir Kaal made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Franciszek Debkowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Erasmo Saldanha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Degutis having to interfere. Daniel Degutis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erasmo Saldanha, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. If Eugeniusz Dunajski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Zdroik TEAM getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Edward Niziolek hit a great ball. Erasmo Saldanha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Daniel Degutis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erasmo Saldanha might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Daniel Degutis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erasmo Saldanha ran back to his position shaking his head. Eugeniusz Dunajski kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Zdroik TEAM made a substitution. Zachary Sokol replaced Zula Hodas. In the 76th match minute, GKS KATOWICE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugeniusz Dunajski to maneuver through the defense. Yasir Kaal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Franciszek Debkowski made a huge save.
