Napoleon Maruda scored 4-0 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dida Ban, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 39 minutes, Leszek Pankowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gunthen SA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leszek Pankowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Napoleon Maruda took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Dida Ban to make any attempt to save it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Napoleon Maruda to make the kick off. Dida Ban took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Napoleon Maruda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernard Czysty hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Dida Ban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dida Ban showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Napoleon Maruda, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After a rather tough play, Gunthen SA's Dobromir Lemiesz got a free kick in the 79th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Napoleon Maruda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dida Ban. Kiki's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Napoleon Maruda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0.
