The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Borysówka's Teofil Cetnar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ziemowit Mojsiewicz in the 5th minute of play. Zbyszek Galagan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 8thth minute of the game Ziemowit Mojsiewicz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Borysówka's Teofil Cetnar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 10th minute, Rafal Lichniak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the match, Borysówka's goal looked a bit too open when Zbyszek Galagan came free, but Teofil Cetnar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ziemowit Mojsiewicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 22 minutes into the game, Zbyszek Galagan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Teofil Cetnar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ziemowit Mojsiewicz in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teofil Cetnar saved Borysówka from getting behind. After having played for 37 minutes, Wladyslaw Kempski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brodwino Lions's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wladyslaw Kempski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 39 minutes into the game, Jan Sidor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Borysówka's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brodwino Lions the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 39th minute of the game. One of Borysówka:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Brodwino Lions:s goal. Teofil Cetnar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ziemowit Mojsiewicz in the 43rd minute of the match. Wladyslaw Kempski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teofil Cetnar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play.

After having played for 53 minutes, Roch Zbydniewski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borysówka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roch Zbydniewski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ziemowit Mojsiewicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teofil Cetnar having to interfere. If Ziemowit Mojsiewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ziemowit Mojsiewiczs short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Teofil Cetnar to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 71st minute, Lucjan Bienienda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Milosz Wielgopolski was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The Brodwino Lions fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Brodwino Lions's Ziemowit Mojsiewicz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 79th minute, Ziemowit Mojsiewicz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teofil Cetnar was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Borysówka's goalkeeper Teofil Cetnar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 90th minute, Ziemowit Mojsiewicz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teofil Cetnar was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. Ziemowit Mojsiewiczs short, quick shot in the 94thth minute got Teofil Cetnar to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 97 minutes, Iwan Gondek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brodwino Lions's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iwan Gondek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Brodwino Lions's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
