After a defensive mix-up in KS Polonia Piła's zone, Roman Golob stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roch Popowicz came out of the goal and Roman Golob tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. KS Polonia Piła's defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when Bernard Bykowski scored to the left of an out of position Roch Popowicz, making the score, 1-0. Boleslaw Dziatkowski hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miroslaw Dudkowski in the 15th minute of play forced Marysin FC's goalkeeper Artur Boruc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Dankowski charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Dankowski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 24th minute, Dariusz Ziombkowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KS Polonia Piła fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernard Bykowski got free with Roch Popowicz in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adrian Polański sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roch Popowicz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernard Bykowski in the 30th minute. Roch Popowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernard Bykowski in the 34th minute of the match. The supporters of KS Polonia Piła booed when Marysin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfred Czaplicki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roch Popowicz was a little too slow when Wiktor Japola got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 2-1. Artur Boruc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miroslaw Dudkowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bernard Bykowski to make the kick off. Bernard Bykowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roch Popowicz having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wasyl Damazki during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, KS Polonia Piła's Wasyl Damazki got a free kick in the 58th minute. Marysin FC's Artur Boruc proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Marysin FC from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernard Bykowski in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roch Popowicz saved KS Polonia Piła from getting behind. Zygmunt Pilarski charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zygmunt Pilarski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Roch Popowicz came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Marysin FC's Bernard Bykowski. But to his dismay, Bernard Bykowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Maksymilian Zuraw hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Bernard Bykowski was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 72nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Bernard Bykowski struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Roch Popowicz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marysin FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Polański in the 77th minute of play forced KS Polonia Piła's goalkeeper Roch Popowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute Bernard Bykowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roch Popowicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Marysin FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
