Roch Popowicz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Dariusz Ziombkowski took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Artur Boruc to make any attempt to save it. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bernard Bykowski was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, KS Polonia Piła's Miroslaw Dudkowski got a free kick in the 54th minute. Artur Boruc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miroslaw Dudkowski in the 74th minute of play. Roch Popowicz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernard Bykowski in the 76th minute. Adrian Polański received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Roch Popowicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernard Bykowski scored 4-6 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roch Popowicz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zygmunt Pilarski in the 88th minute of play forced Marysin FC's goalkeeper Artur Boruc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Bernard Bykowski notched a goal, 4-8, to the right of KS Polonia Piła's Roch Popowicz. Roch Popowicz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the final whistle sounded Marysin FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than KS Polonia Piła.
