Dariusz Rydzewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Wincenty Tylinski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Arkadiusz Ostrowski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Arkadiusz Ostrowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zula Poremba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute, Lukasz Fafinski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wawrzyniec Kiepski in the 86th minute of play forced Sztombergi's goalkeeper Arkadiusz Ostrowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 87 minutes, Zula Poremba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zagłębie's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zula Poremba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gwidon Gmoch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arkadiusz Ostrowski having to interfere.
