In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Braynicken's goalkeeper Remigiusz Cieliczka, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jurand Szarmach was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jakub Pozorski. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofil Podolski in the 46th minute of play forced Braynicken's goalkeeper Remigiusz Cieliczka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jakub Pozorski might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jurand Szarmach. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jakub Pozorski ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damian Frankowski got free with Jurand Szarmach in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teofil Podolski to make the kick off. A hard shot 52 in the game by Iwo Pankiewicz from a close distance when the talented Remigiusz Cieliczka managed to make a qualified save. Braynicken's players were relieved. Jakub Pozorski might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jurand Szarmach. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 63rd minute, Iwo Pankiewicz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Teofil Podolski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Remigiusz Cieliczka was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Jakub Pozorski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Braynicken's supporters rose to their feet, but Jakub Pozorski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jurand Szarmach breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Damian Frankowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Jakub Pozorski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes into the game, one of Braynicken:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Jakub Pozorski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jurand Szarmach having to interfere. Despite being the better team, Braynicken failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
