Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, Mniewo's goal looked a bit too open when Marcin Hajder came free, but Dobromir Pietras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 9 played minutes Mniewo got a freekick which was hit by Ryszard Falkiewicz. The supporters of Ciechanówek booed when Mniewo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stasio Trynda didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 13 played minutes Ciechanówek got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Olender. Edgar Olender stood ready after the free kick and tried to head the ball into the goal, but got pushed from behind by one of Mniewo's defenders and the ball went out. Ciechanówek appealed in vain for a penalty, the referee looked over at the linesman, but the flag stayed down. No Penalty. Mniewo's Dobromir Pietras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcin Hajder in the 16th minute of play. When Tanek Bartoszek fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mniewo's protests and gave Tanek Bartoszek a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ciechanówek booed when Mniewo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lech Bartoszek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgar Olender received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Dobromir Pietras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Stasio Trynda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tadeusz Bartochowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stasio Trynda, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After some careless play in the Mniewo defense, Marcin Hajder kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dobromir Pietras. The Mniewo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dobromir Pietras should have stopped the shot. In the 36th minute, Marcin Hajder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 39th minute Edgar Olender shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dobromir Pietras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciechanówek's Tadeusz Bartochowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stasio Trynda in the 41st minute of play. Tadeusz Bartochowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bogdan Zawada in the 44th minute. Stasio Trynda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcin Hajder was the one to do the kick off. Mniewo's Marek Cichowski suffered a sore thigh after 55 minutes and couldn't finish the game. A collision led to Ciechanówek getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Milosz Kempka hit a great ball. Bogdan Zawada's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tadeusz Bartochowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. In the 69th minute of the match Mniewo got a corner. Ciechanówek's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Borys Gajewski ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to Mniewo getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Tanek Bartoszek hit a great ball. In the 84th minute, Ciechanówek's Marcin Hajder ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dobromir Pietras. Dobromir Pietras yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. 89 minutes in the game, Edgar Olender fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Dobromir Pietras having to interfere. If Marcin Hajder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filip Kieca took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dobromir Pietras. Mniewo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Bogdan Zawada had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tadeusz Bartochowski. Ciechanówek's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bogdan Zawada was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The Ciechanówek players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
