Igor Komornicki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartlomiej Puchlik, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 18th match minute, Kostrzeszyn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ludomil Penkalski to maneuver through the defense. Konrad Czerny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waclaw Wallach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bartlomiej Puchlik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Komornicki having to interfere. 24 minutes into the game, Bartlomiej Puchlik was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. After some careless play in the Uniszowice defense, Bartlomiej Puchlik kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Igor Komornicki. The Uniszowice fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Igor Komornicki should have stopped the shot. After the first half Kostrzeszyn were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Radowit Przewozik got free with Igor Komornicki in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Uniszowice getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Jaroslaw Pincoski hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Radowit Przewozik managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kostrzeszyn's supporters rose to their feet, but Radowit Przewozik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Igor Komornicki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Bartlomiej Puchlik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute Bartlomiej Puchlik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Komornicki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iwan Ryback charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After a defensive mix-up in Uniszowice's zone, Bartlomiej Puchlik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Igor Komornicki came out of the goal and Bartlomiej Puchlik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 92 minutes into the match, Uniszowice's goal looked a bit too open when Bartlomiej Puchlik came free, but Igor Komornicki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kostrzeszyn's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
