Szczeciński Klub Sportowy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bartosz Pyrzyce was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Olgierd Januszewski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zbyszek Smolarek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. But to his dismay, Cezary Chludzinski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bartosz Pyrzyce in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Piotr Sanocki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jurand Scigan hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Piotr Sanocki acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 63rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Alfred Karpinski. A collision led to Maszkienice SSA getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Olgierd Januszewski hit a great ball. If Cezary Chludzinski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Szczeciński Klub Sportowy booed when Maszkienice SSA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Przebendowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Maszkienice SSA lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
