Spectators: 7392 (Terracing: 5546, Seating: 1699, VIP seats: 147) QW Gruchy's Antoni Kolba started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, QW Gruchy's Herbert Mitus got a free kick in the 5th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pawel Gall in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eugeniusz Degutis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Antoni Kolba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 17 minutes into the game, Zbyszko Wydrych was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Blaugrana's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave QW Gruchy the free kick. After 17 played minutes Blaugrana got a freekick which was hit by Zbyszko Wydrych. Blaugrana's Leszek Buczak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antoni Kolba in the 18th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ryszard Hendzel got free with Leszek Buczak in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ryszard Hendzel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Leszek Buczak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ryszard Hendzel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leszek Buczak having to interfere. Antoni Kolba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Leszek Buczak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zbyszko Wydrych sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Cezary Perkowski fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Blaugrana's protests and gave Cezary Perkowski a yellow card for diving instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andrzej Ochylski during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Andrzej Ochylski hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute of the match Hieronim Bugajski sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leszek Buczak skillfully saved the ball. If Ryszard Hendzel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pawel Gall to make the kick off. Leszek Buczak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ryszard Hendzel, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 55 minutes into the match, QW Gruchy's Ryszard Hendzel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leszek Buczak narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Olgierd Pincoski fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored QW Gruchy's protests and gave Olgierd Pincoski a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, QW Gruchy's Olgierd Pincoski got a free kick in the 57th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ryszard Hendzel in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leszek Buczak saved Blaugrana from getting behind. Antoni Kolba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leszek Buczak having to interfere. Leszek Buczak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryszard Hendzel in the 73rd minute of play. Herbert Mitus charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Herbert Mitus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Blaugrana booed when QW Gruchy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herbert Mitus didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 77 minutes, Ryszard Hendzel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. QW Gruchy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ryszard Hendzel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After recieving a nice pass, QW Gruchy's Hieronim Bugajski tried to score from far away in the 81st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Antoni Kolba came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the QW Gruchy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antoni Kolba couldn't finish the play. If Ryszard Hendzel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Blaugrana getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Cezary Perkowski hit a great ball. Leszek Buczak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antoni Kolba's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Ryszard Hendzel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leszek Buczak having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antoni Kolba in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leszek Buczak saved Blaugrana from getting behind. QW Gruchy walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
