In the 7th minute, Fryderyk Bejger reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rafal Skirzynski. The goal made the score 1-0. If Witalis Dziechciowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fryderyk Bejger in the 18th minute of play forced Inter's goalkeeper Rafal Skirzynski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jedrzej Bejrut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tolek Drzewucki in the 30th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Grunwald's Dawid Wiater got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 33rd minute Tolek Drzewucki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jedrzej Bejrut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafal Skirzynski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fryderyk Bejger in the 34th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Inter's zone, Fryderyk Bejger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafal Skirzynski came out of the goal and Fryderyk Bejger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Tolek Drzewucki managed to get in a good position for a shot. Inter's supporters rose to their feet, but Tolek Drzewucki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jedrzej Bejrut breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomasz Pawlak kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, Grunwald's goal looked a bit too open when Kazimierz Budacz came free, but Jedrzej Bejrut reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kazimierz Budacz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 57 minutes, Wiktor Piatek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Grunwald and the Inter players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 58th minute Kazimierz Budacz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jedrzej Bejrut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Witalis Dziechciowski took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rafal Skirzynski. Rafal Skirzynski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Witalis Dziechciowski in the 71st minute of play forced Inter's goalkeeper Rafal Skirzynski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jedrzej Bejrut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kazimierz Budacz in the 75th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, Witalis Dziechciowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rafal Skirzynski. Inter's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Witalis Dziechciowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Grunwald's Witalis Dziechciowski got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rafal Skirzynski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Witalis Dziechciowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 92 minutes, Fryderyk Bejger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grunwald's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fryderyk Bejger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rafal Skirzynski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Witalis Dziechciowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
