Zbyszek Pleban made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 19thth minute of the game Dariusz Ludwiczak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fyrlad SSA's Zachariasz Kornecki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 22nd minute, Iwan Praski fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Zachariasz Kornecki, passed just outside the right post. In the 36th minute Dariusz Ludwiczak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zachariasz Kornecki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iwan Praski got free with Zachariasz Kornecki in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 39 minutes, Zachariasz Kornecki successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Dariusz Ludwiczak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Zachariasz Kornecki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iwan Praski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Zachariasz Kornecki made a huge save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 54th minute, Iwan Praski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zachariasz Kornecki was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Dariusz Ludwiczak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zachariasz Kornecki having to interfere. If Iwan Praski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kryspin Kapinos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dariusz Ludwiczak in the 86th minute of play forced Fyrlad SSA's goalkeeper Zachariasz Kornecki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Gusten booed when Fyrlad SSA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Witold Absolwent didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fyrlad SSA succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Gusten had controlled the match.
