Spectators: 7296 (Terracing: 5474, Seating: 1677, VIP seats: 145) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bogdan Jaktorowo started the match with the kick off. Norbert Oryniak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tymoteusz Borowski in the 4th minute. GKS Tychy's Norbert Oryniak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save GKS Tychy from getting a goal against them. Tymoteusz Borowskis short, quick shot in the 8thth minute got Norbert Oryniak to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Izydor Gieraltowski came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Wisla Krakow fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Izydor Gieraltowski couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, GKS Tychy's Norbert Oryniak got control of the ball when Tymoteusz Borowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Juliusz Komornicki took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tobiasz Giertych. Tobiasz Giertych dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. With splendid footwork Tymoteusz Borowski arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-1 by the left pole in the game's 17th minute. Tymoteusz Borowski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Norbert Oryniak came out and tried to block the shot, but Tymoteusz Borowski slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 21st minute. Norbert Oryniak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tymoteusz Borowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Gustaw Budzynski kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Tobiasz Giertych made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Ankiewicz in the 29th minute of play. Tobiasz Giertych showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bogdan Jaktorowo, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After having played for 31 minutes, Tymoteusz Borowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wisla Krakow's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tymoteusz Borowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in GKS Tychy's zone, Tymoteusz Borowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Norbert Oryniak came out of the goal and Tymoteusz Borowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Norbert Oryniak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tymoteusz Borowski in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tymoteusz Borowski made a kick off. Tymoteusz Borowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Norbert Oryniak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tymoteusz Borowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Norbert Oryniak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tymoteusz Borowski's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. In the 68th minute, Tymoteusz Borowski made a precise shot to the right of Norbert Oryniak. GKS Tychy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Tymoteusz Borowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 72 minutes into the game, Wlodzimierz Harasimowicz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GKS Tychy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wisla Krakow the free kick. In the 72nd match minute, GKS Tychy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wlodzimierz Harasimowicz to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tymoteusz Borowski in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Norbert Oryniak saved GKS Tychy from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in GKS Tychy's zone, Izydor Gieraltowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Norbert Oryniak came out of the goal and Izydor Gieraltowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tymoteusz Borowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tymoteusz Borowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norbert Oryniak having to interfere. When Tymoteusz Borowski came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Wisla Krakow fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tymoteusz Borowski couldn't finish the play. If Tymoteusz Borowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute Tymoteusz Borowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norbert Oryniak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Izydor Gieraltowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Norbert Oryniak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Wisla Krakow players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
