Tobiasz Giertych made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Witold Gall in the 3rd minute of play. In the 4th minute, Piotr Kowalski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aleksander Fronczak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franciszek Slazak having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Wisla Krakow's zone, Boruc Chmelyk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tobiasz Giertych came out of the goal and Boruc Chmelyk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tobiasz Giertych took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boruc Chmelyk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Hanki booed when Wisla Krakow was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulryk Andrychowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tobiasz Giertych showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Majerowicz in the 17th minute of the match. Tobiasz Giertych took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Majerowicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20thth minute of the game Grzegorz Skoroda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hanki's Franciszek Slazak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Szczepan Bejgier was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 23 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute, one of Hanki:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Hanki. Grzegorz Skoroda walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Franciszek Slazak came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Wisla Krakow's Aleksander Fronczak. But to his dismay, Aleksander Fronczak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 33rd minute, Grzegorz Skoroda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wisla Krakow fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The audience was convinced that Grzegorz Skoroda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Franciszek Slazak was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Tadeusz Cieliczka's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 75thth minute, Tobiasz Giertych skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Grzegorz Skoroda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Witold Gall could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Tobiasz Giertych made a huge save. After 83 minutes, Grzegorz Skoroda made it 5-2 with a short kick to the right side. Hanki's Franciszek Slazak tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Hanki booed when Wisla Krakow was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulryk Andrychowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Grzegorz Skoroda in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Franciszek Slazak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The tension between the Hanki and the Wisla Krakow players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Hanki's Tadeusz Cieliczka got a free kick in the 97th minute. Wisla Krakow's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
