Bogumil Logewnik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manchester United. When Szymon Huchro came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Kompina SSA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Szymon Huchro couldn't finish the play. In the 22nd minute, Adam Kosowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wawrzyniec Cytrynski was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Wawrzyniec Cytrynski came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Kompina SSA's Szymon Huchro. But to his dismay, Szymon Huchro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 30 minutes into the match, Manchester United's goal looked a bit too open when Szymon Huchro came free, but Wawrzyniec Cytrynski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Borys Skaradoski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manchester United's supporters rose to their feet, but Borys Skaradoski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bogumil Logewnik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 38 minutes, Tomasz Ligas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kompina SSA and the Manchester United players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Manchester United booed when Kompina SSA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomasz Ligas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomasz Ligas got his second yellow card in the match during the 40th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 41st minute, Tomasz Ligas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Boruc Jaruzelski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Kompina SSA supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kompina SSA would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
