The supporters of Eagles Sosnowiec booed when Jebaki was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waclaw Rakoski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mariusz Gregorczyk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leon Bielatowicz's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Przemyslaw Czempa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariusz Gregorczyk having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leon Bielatowicz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Wladyslaw Gejda's late challenge caught a Eagles Sosnowiec's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wladyslaw Gejda helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Jebaki getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Wladyslaw Gejda hit a great ball. A hard shot by Walery Kapera from long distance, 52 minutes into the match, got Mariusz Gregorczyk's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antoni Burdalski in the 56th minute of play forced Eagles Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Lucjan Olejniczak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mariusz Gregorczyk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leon Bielatowicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Waclaw Rakoski hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Jebaki's Waclaw Hendzel got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mariusz Gregorczyk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stasio Jakisz, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Jebaki fans cheered their team off the field, for while Eagles Sosnowiec had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
