The audience was convinced that Arkadiusz Dziatkowicz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Witold Kaszubowski was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. When Jakub Rydz came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Mierzyn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jakub Rydz couldn't finish the play. After the first half Godenzonen AFC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jakub Rydz to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Jakub Rydz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beniamin Mleczewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacek Rasiak hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute, Mierzyn's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Arkadiusz Dziatkowicz fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 59th match minute, Mierzyn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Witold Domeradzki to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Stefan Babicki from long distance, 60 minutes into the match, got Witold Kaszubowski's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When Edward Bochynski came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Godenzonen AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edward Bochynski couldn't finish the play. If Cyprian Bentkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jakub Rydz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute, Cyprian Bentkowski made a precise shot to the right of Beniamin Mleczewski. Godenzonen AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. If Edward Bochynski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edward Bochynski struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Witold Kaszubowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Godenzonen AFC. Witold Kaszubowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arkadiusz Dziatkowicz in the 89th minute. 93 minutes into the match, Mierzyn's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Bochynski came free, but Witold Kaszubowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edward Bochynski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Godenzonen AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
