Lukasz Juroszek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jedrzej Zurawski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Filip Poremba came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Legia Warsaw fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filip Poremba couldn't finish the play. After 17 minutes of play, Legia Warsaw's Jedrzej Zurawski made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lukasz Juroszek was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jedrzej Zurawski might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lukasz Juroszek. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jedrzej Zurawski ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Jedrzej Zurawski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Legia Warsaw's supporters rose to their feet, but Jedrzej Zurawski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lukasz Juroszek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Patryk Dula received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Dawid Skarpiak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute Patryk Dula shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dawid Skarpiak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jedrzej Zurawski in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lukasz Juroszek saved FC Lee from getting behind. If Jedrzej Zurawski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Borys Ciborek in the 53rd minute of play forced Legia Warsaw's goalkeeper Dawid Skarpiak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Legia Warsaw's Jedrzej Zurawski in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
